11 - Chakra Usage

Post by Zephyr Uchiha on Sun Mar 04, 2012 2:39 am

Chakra:

Chakra. It is the basis of all techniques, and the entire world of Naruto revolves around it. There's no set number or amount of it, it is just a general gauge - much like the Power Level of Dragon Ball Z. It is difficult to be measured, and to know exactly how much you have left, so there is no point in assigning a number for characters to have on the site. You are simply expected to follow logic and reason based on your rank and title, and the jutsus you used. If you want a general guideline, you can use the following - feel free to roleplay your character being able to do slightly more or slightly less. Just know that you are not invincible, and you can get tired.

Kekkei Genkai like the Sharingan that use chakra per post do not count towards these maximums. They have their own usage maximums in a thread.

For having a Rank that is above your title's norm, subtract 1 for every rank higher you are above the maximum suggested (for being a S-class Genin, you can only use 2 S-Class jutsu in a thread before total exhaustion) that you are. This is to encourage individuals to raise their title as they increase in rank.

Please note that each one is the maximum a user can use before exhausting their total chakra. Using 6 S-Rank jutsu at S-Rank is the same as using 8 A-Ranks. As such, if you use half of your limit in one rank, you half the limit in every other category as well. A D-rank character can use 4 Supplementary and 3 D-Rank before running out, etc.

Other Limits:

Per post, you can only use the highest class justu you are able to only once. Beyond that, you are limited to two per post. This means that a D-Rank shinobi can use one B-rank jutsu in a post, two C-rank, two B-rank, or two Supplementary techniques. These do not stack. Clan techniques count towards these, and clan Kekkei Genkai (such as the Sharingan) count as the level of Training you had to do to get them.
