The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state. Water clones generally have a tenth of the power of their creator.
Special: This jutsu is unique to the Mist village and its shinobi. It can be learned by any Mist shinobi, or rogues formerly from the Mist, and can be taught to others by them. Special Abilities that copy techniques, unless otherwise specified, can copy this technique and ignore the requirement to learn from a Mist shinobi.

Mizurappa (Violent Water Wave)

Suirou no Jutsu (Water Prison Jutsu)

Requires: Water Element
Description: The ninja forms the necessary hand seals which causes the water to form around a target into a spherical prison. The user must stay in contact with the dome or it dissipates, and the person trapped inside the technique may not move much more than a few inches unless they devise a clever way of escaping what some call the inescapable prison.

Suiton Ozumatoi no Jutsu (Water Release: Great Whirlpool Entwing Technique)
Rank: S
Requires: Water Element; Weapon
Description: After performing a series of handseals, the user creates a great water vortex out of a nearby water source or out of the humidity in the air. The speed of its spinning makes it razor sharp. The vortex then consumes the blade of the weapon, and the vortex can be wielded instead of the weapon. After one slash, the vortex is sent flying towards the direction of the attack. Upon contact with another object, it will explode, sending a great deal of crushing water and slicing wind in all directions from the impact area.
