[Teaching] Supplementary Jutsu

Kai (Release)
Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming a tiger or ram handsign, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seal, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
Special: Only protects the user from Genjutsu up to the user's rank.

Chakra Control
Requirements: C-Ranked Jutsu Training, Water Walking
Description: You have learned how to control your chakra better and learn how to focus it in your feet to walk on otherwise impossible-to-walk-on objects. Now you can use that training and apply it. This technique allows you to use your control of chakra to use techniques with less chakra, become faster when using bursts of chakra from your feet, become stronger with chakra focused in your hands, among other things.

A long sigh flowed freely and with great warmth from the lungs, throat and through the parted lips of the shinobi dressed in black. As the exhaled air flowed against the backside of his white mask and rolled over itself again and again, he closed his eyes. He sat quietly on a hill top in the large, public park of Konohagakure; his hands occasionally gracing the surface of the green grass as he tried to relax.

The feeling of the sun was nice and the fact that it was beginning to set, was even better. Since his awakening here in the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Wysal had experienced much difficulty in keeping his body temperature down. With all the beautiful sunshine, clear blue skies and warm green grass, it was all such a strange world to him and he was still trying to adapt. He had come from the Hidden Mist and there, his attire was more than suitable to endure the cold, rainy downpour that never seemed to cease. Not only did it help him to stay warm and keep the water off of his skin, but it allowed him to move unseen through the endless amount of dark shadows that existed in and around the foggy village.

Here it was a completely different story, if not the complete polar opposite.

The small beads of sweat that rolled down his face behind the cover of his mask, slowly began to cool and disperse as the temperature dropped with every passing minute. He opened his eyes slowly and turned his head to gaze at the changing colors in the sky as the sun fell lower and lower toward the horizon.

Though he was still trying to adjust to this new environment, Wysal couldn't help but feel like he had been here for weeks with all that had happened to him already. From escaping from the Konoha hospital, to engaging in friendly combat with a young kid and his purple dog in the forest. From joining up with a powerful pair of shinobi on his first mission for the Hidden Leaf, to helping some little old ladies pull their weeds, haul off their excess garbage, and paint their fences. And finally tracking down and reclaiming the rectangular wooden box that the three marketeers had stolen and fought over; things had definitely been interesting to say the least.

Wysal reflected on all the events of the past few days and a soft smile fell over his lips. He was glad to be in a new land, experiencing new things and meeting new people. He had even managed to learn some new techniques through his endeavors and that was perhaps the most exciting thing of all. Maybe if he was lucky enough, he would even learn something new before the day was through. For now though, resting was holding down the top of the priority list and he tried to enjoy the stillness.

*Meeeeeeoww!*

Oh ya... and he had apparently acquired a new pet too... which he had aptly named "Kitty."

Despite all of his attempts to discourage the feline from following him, his efforts had been in vain and the black beast had made its decision.

As he continued to neglect the cat, it appeared to grow more and more fond of him, rubbing up against his leg as he sat quietly on the hilltop.

The sound of her sandals sketching the ground could be heard from a little ways away while on her way to the park. Over the past few days Aiko had accomplished a few...more than welcoming things. She had taught Rikuo Namikaze, a friend of hers, his first Genjutsu. Then Aiko had taught herself another genjutsu to have in her arsenal with Rikuo. The last one, but certaintly not the least, was meeting and befriending a new shinobi in the village. His name, if remembered right was Wysal Acim X..but she'd just call him X.

Finally reaching her desitination, the public park, Aiko turned the corner to enter and smile softly when seeing her new friend. Looks like they had the same idea today. Her eyes would see a tail shoot up in the air as the furry feline rubbed against his leg and Aiko could not help laugh lightly.

"X! I didn't know you had a pet!"

She would smile over at his mask knowing he still saw her smile. The mask itself brought on her curiousity seeing as he never took it off around her. Maybe if asked nicely he would remove it. Just so she could see what was hidden behind it.

Aiko would then walk over to his sitting beside him with that sweet smile still on her face. His attire was a bit..out of the usual for someone in this village; then again, she remembered the story her friend Hikari's mother told her. Her mom was a refugee here from the mist, so it took her awhile to get use to the climate in the leaf.

As he heard the sweet sound of laughter, Wysal slowly lifted his chin and peered out through the thin slits in his mask. His tired, lonely gaze fell upon a familiar, beautiful sight and the corners of his lips rose slightly in a soft smile.

Though hidden behind his white mask, his expression was one of contentment in this current moment, as his body began to relax and his tired, aching muscles finally found some rest. It was not a moment too soon, as he exhaled heavily and allowed the fatigue to consume him.

Watching the girl approach him, his ear drums throbbed slightly as her sweet voice lofted through the air and peaked his interest.

"X! I didn't know you had a pet!" she commented, her face lighting up at the sight of the black cat.

Wysal turned his gaze slightly in order to see "Kitty" and he shrugged his shoulders. Extending a hand slowly, he pushed the cat away from his leg, only to feel it rubbing right up against his leg again a second later with even more affection.

Sighing softly, he turned his head to look back toward the setting sun.

Their spot on the hilltop was ideal for sight seeing, especially now that it was so close to sunset. Wysal inhaled softly through his nose and leaned back in the grass, resting on his elbows. This, felt good.

Aiko looked at him quietly after watching him push the kitty away. She almost felt bad for it but ended up bursting into laughter at the cat coming right back. This time twice as affectionate. He didn't seemed to talk much either, a hello, hi, how's it going, or nothing. Aiko couldn't even tell if was smiling or glad to see her behind that mask.

"The sunsetting and a view like this never gets old to me..and I've been here since I was born.."

Her eyes would look down at him, her arms would be wrapped around her knees as they were brought up to her chest. This was a comfortable position when watching the view like this. Hoping to get even a sentence out of him her persistence wasn't going to waver.

"Wysal, you know you can talk to me right? I know we just met and all but I keep secrets. I like being someone who people can depend on. So..if you want to talk or say anything I'm here."

Her normal sweet smile would be changed into a sincere look as well as a smile to go with it. Aiko meant everything that she had said.

The girl's sweet voice came again, lofting along on the summer's breeze like a soaring-bird's melody. The hypnotic tones of her vocalizations were almost enough to put Wysal into a trance as he allowed his body, mind and spirit to further relax into the grassy hill. His head slouched more as the stiff muscles in his neck began to loosen and allow their heavy weighted burden to sag slightly.

Her previous comment finally set in, as the musical overtones of her words subsided finally and allowed him to comprehend what she had actually said.

Nodding softly, Wysal once again turned his attention to the sky; all the colors in it beginning to change and grow more intense as the bright ball of fire in the sky grew eminently nearer to the horizon.

As her next statement came, Wysal's current inhale was cut short as he held his breath and slowly turned his gaze toward the girl sitting next to him. His cold, lonely eyes could be seen through the holes in his white mask; staring into her own black iris' for a brief moment. He could see that her expression was soft and genuine and her words resounded with the same admirable-qualities.

With a softening look, he turned his head away, looking back to the increasingly gorgeous sunset and for the first time; he spoke to Aiko.

"It's the first one I've ever seen..."

The Sunset:

Aiko's heart seemed to drop when locking eyes with his. Acim's eyes looked so cold...lonely..as if he could not depend or trust anyone in this world. Whatever had happened to him during his life she wanted to make sure it wouldn't happen again. Protecting her friends was something Aiko took very seriously.

Her ears then picked up on someone speaking, for a second her mind assumed that someone else was watching them and decided to join. Realizing it was him speaking her smile grew a little though kept its softness about it. It made her feel good that he felt comfortable around her...especially this comfortable. Now that Aiko thought about it, had he talked to anyone else?

She couldn't help but giggle at his words, not a insult of some sorts but as in a happy way that meant Aiko was happy to be apart of this moment. With time who knew, they could be very close friends.

"Well I promise it won't be your last X. I mean it. I'll help with anything you need. Just let me know what it is. You're my friend! So being able to be here with you is more than a honor."

Aiko let go of her knees as her legs went straight and her hands kept her upright behind her. Her head would look up at the sunset as a flock of birds crossed. This was a truely peaceful time right now.

Wysal exhaled heavily against the backside of the white mask that covered his face and lips. His cold eyes were pinned on the incredible sight of the setting sun over the Hidden Leaf Village. It was the first sunset he had ever seen and he was absolutely awe-struck by it. Not only was he getting to experience something so amazing for the first time, but with someone.. special at his side.

As he listened to her words while still looking at the view, he couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort in what she said. Even though they had only just met a few days ago during their mission, it felt like he had made a true friend. One who would not only look after him and watch his back, but encourage him and help him as he worked his way out of his shell. He almost couldn't believe how kind her words were and he closed his eyes briefly, allowing it all to sink in and breathing slowly. As he reopened his eyes and took another look at the sunset, he turned his head once again to look up at Aiko.

Though his eyes were still cold, dark and incredibly lonely; as he looked into her eyes, there was a small hint of happiness swimming in his dark pools.

"Thank you."

A happy feeling had come over her when hearing him say thank you. All he needed was someone standing in his corner with him and as his friend Aiko was going to fulfill that duty. It was just who she was, sure most people believed that Uchiha's were stuck up or self centered but this was something that she wanted to eliminate in the future.

"You're welcome.."

Her eyes never looked away from his until his head had turned back to the sunset. Maybe X would like something to eat. Her stomach was hinting towards food so maybe his was as well. A part of her was a bit glad that her dad hadn't came to look for her. He would always go to extremes seeing as he disliked her being out and about outside the compound.

"Hey, maybe after the sun sets we could go get something to eat. My treat!"

FOOD!?!?

As soon as the notion was presented and the thought crossed Wysal's mind, he sprang up onto his feet via an impressive kip-up. However, due to his long period of rest and relaxation, the muscles in his legs had begun to loosen up and his limbs had fallen asleep in the process. Now, as he went bounding up to his feet from the ground, his legs gave out as soon as his weight was applied to them and he went tumbling head over heels down the hillside.

With "Kitty" thinking it was a game and chasing after him the whole way down, batting at his flailing limbs as they flopped and smacked against the green grass; Wysal could only hold his breath and wait for the madness to end.

Finally coming to a rest at the bottom of the hill, he opened his eyes and found himself lying on his back once again, staring at the sunset. Apparently though his stomach was MORE than ready to eat, his body and mind had not had their fill of the beautiful, colorful sky.

With a long exhale, Wysal allowed himself another moment of rest and nestled into his new found spot at the bottom of the hill. The sound of a jingle bell could be heard approaching quickly and in a matter of seconds, an airborne, black-projectile known as "Kitty" came sailing through the air and pounced right on top of Wysal's head, pinning him to the ground.

He couldn't wait to eat, but there was a certain fuzzy beast that needed to be dealt with first. Groaning softly, he slowly lifted his arm and waved his hand as a signal for Aiko to help.

Aiko blinked but showed a smile when seeing him shoot up to his feet with that oh so impressive way to get up. The next thing that happened she wouldn't believe it would happen in a million years right infront of her.

X had started rolling down the cliff, probably from the lack of blood flow to his muscles, at a speed that was hard to at least keep up with. Then the cat obviously thought it was a game because the cat started running beside him while he rolled.

Doing her best to hold in her laughter Aiko jumped up once he stopped rolling. She slid down the hillside and stopped at his side kneeling beside him checking to see it he was okay. Aiko laughed lightly yet politely, if that was even possible.

She took the cat off of her friends head and held onto Kitty while her other hand helped pull him up on his feet. X was the silent humor kind of person, the event was something Aiko was never ever going to forget. It was just so...coinidental along with cute.

"The food if definitely my treat! Are you alright?"
