Titles and Ranks:

The Titles:

Below are the titles that one can obtain in the Ninja world. The ranks listed are merely a guideline unless otherwise stated - A-rank Genin can exist, but it's not likely and it's not recommended.

Genin
Rank: E - D
Description: Genin are the lowest rank - the students in the Ninja world. Their jobs include menial tasks, but sometimes, they are allowed to go on C-rank missions with their squads because they may be considered tough. To become a Chunin, one must pass through the Chunin Exams, and impress the Proctors enough to let them graduate you.

Chunin
Rank: C - B

Special: -2 Posts for learning jutsu; Max Jutsus +14 Extra Chakra Nature slot (Max 4)

Special Titles:

These are titles that do not fit the norm of the regular four village titles. They give special bonuses.

Special Jounin
Rank: B

Bonuses: -1 Post required to learn jutsu; Max jutsu +4

ANBU
Rank: A - S
Description: The most elite task force in the city. These soldiers are given masks to wear at all times, and usually wear cloaks to disguise their body forms as well. They are some of the strongest in the village. They are ranked even higher than Jounin often times in their abilities. Some of them have unique abilities that aid them in hunting. They are often tasked in hunting and killing Missing Nin.
Requirements: Selected by Kage. Must be Jounin. Taken 4 or more A-class missions.

Sannin
Rank: S

These are Jounin that rarely do missions because their power is so great, it is used for the good of the entire country. They are often sent to other villages, or are allowed to do what they want with their lives unless the village direly needs them.
Requirements: S-ranked Jounin or ANBU. Selected by Kage. Maximum of 3. Taken 3 or more S-class missions.
Bonuses: -2 Posts required to learn jutsu; Max jutsu +12

By passing the Chunin Exams, a Genin that is D-rank will automatically gain the RPTs to become C-rank. Chunin that become Jounin are given the RPTs to get to the next rank, unless they are already A.

Gaining Ranks:

In order to rank up you need to earn Rank Points {RPTs). You can earn these from training or completing missions. The amount of RPTs you get vary by the length of your training and the difficulty of the mission you have taken. Player created missions will be awarded RPTs at the end of the thread once a moderator assesses the difficulty of the task and how it was completed. For the moment the rubric for ranking up is as follows;

In order to increase your character's shinobi Rank, you need to earn Rank Points (RPTs). These can be earned from training, learning jutsu, or completing missions. The amount of RPTs you receive varies by the difficulty of the training, jutsu, or mission. For the moment, the rubric for ranking up is as follows:

D - 60 RPTs
C - 200 RPTs
B - 400 RPTs
A - 1,000 RPTs
S - 2,000 RPTs

This means that to become a D-rank, one must obtain 60 RPTs. After that, you must obtain 140 more to become a C-rank by having a total of 200. Below is the reward range you can receive for training and missions.

Missions:

D-Rank - 10 RPTs
C-Rank - 20 RPTs
B-Rank - 40 RPTs
A-Rank - 100 RPTs
S-Rank - 200 RPTs

Training:

Supplementary: 5 RPTs
D-Class - 5 RPTs
C-Class - 10 RPTs
B-Class - 20 RPTs
A-Class - 50 RPTs
S-Class - 100 RPTs

Now, obviously, Missing Nins cannot do Missions, so they have something alternative to doing Missions: Killing. I know, people do not want to be ambushed constantly for training, so the rewards for killing are high. It is discouraged to become known for killing, because there is more of a chance of there being a mission created for your head. Consider RPTs as like your level of imfamy. One can still Train for Jutsu like always, or just start battles and retreat if you know you cannot win... Abuse of the "starting battles"will result in punishment.

Starting battles:

D-Rank - 10 RPTs
C-Rank - 20 RPTs
B-Rank - 40 RPTs
A-Rank - 100 RPTs
S-Rank - 200 RPTs

Killing Shinobi:

C-Rank - 100 RPTs
B-Rank - 200 RPTs
A-Rank - 500 RPTs
S-Rank - 1000 RPTs
